The Aviara Golf Course is located north of San Diego
overlooking the Batquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad. Both Golf Digest and Golf
Magazine have named this Arnold Palmer designed course one of the best
resort courses in America. Framed by abundant native wildflowers, the
challenging layout winds through rolling valleys and offers views of the
Pacific Ocean. This course may be the "best maintained" course in San
Diego. The pre and post play service provided by the Aviara staff is
absolutely superb and considered by many to be the standard by which all
other courses are measured in San Diego. The elegantly appointed clubhouse
features a bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, locker
rooms and an upscale golf shop. The course includes a driving range and an
oversized practice putting green.
Carlton Oaks Country Club is the only San Diego
Dye-Designed golf course. Experience long, undulating fairways, mature
trees, deep pot bunkers and water hazards. Two practice chipping and

California Golf magazine rates Carmel Mountain Ranch
as one of the states' premier golf courses. This 18 Hole championship

The Auld Course is San Diego’s newest championship
golf course. Nestled in the peaceful foothills of Mt. Miguel, the 280-acre
layout is an ideal location for golf enthusiasts with its protected
wildlife refuge surrounding the course and fantastic views of the Pacific
Ocean. Designed by John Cook, the course features rolling hills, three
lakes, seventy eight bunkers and acres of lush wetlands. The Auld
Clubhouse features a full service Golf Shop, Bar & Grill as well as
Banquet & Meeting space. The Bar and Grill serves lunch daily along with
cocktails and hors d’oeuvres until sunset.
Designed by internationally renowned golf course
architect, Tom Fazio and includes a stunning Frank Lloyd-Wright inspired
clubhouse. The course features a winning combination of scenery, wildlife

unforgettable. The course combines undulating fairways bordered by rustic

Renowned architect David Rainville designed The
Vineyard golf course to echo the time-honored feel and playability of
courses from the past eras. Lush, rolling fairways meander peacefully
along wildlife preserves, grape vineyards, and five beautiful lakes. In
Golf's grand tradition, The Vineyard golf club can be highly unforgiving
of errant shots and infinitely rewarding of good ones. Brimming with charm
and challenges, The Vineyard has all the makings of a Classic golf course.
Designed by William Bell, Sr. in 1957. The
Torrey Pines Municipal Golf Course is located on the coast of Southern
California, between the cities of La Jolla and Del Mar, called Torrey
Pines. There are two 18-hole golf courses, the north course and the south
course. Both courses are played by the PGA TOUR professionals during the
Buick Invitational of California in February, and are featured by USA and
CBS television networks. The South Course opened to play in June 1957.
Torrey Pines signature hole is located on the North course on hole #6.
Both Torrey Pines courses feature holes bordering the ocean, and the view
in some parts is awesome. There are also deep canyons with thick
vegetation and wildlife. The name really comes from the "Torrey Pine
tree", and both courses have plenty of them. The North course is shorter
than the South course, but some say it is more scenic. The South course is
a tough test of golf and requires, primarily, length off the tee. Both
courses are rather open with strategically placed bunkers.
This Ted Robinson design is nestled in the Twin Oaks
Valley and plays beside a protected wildlife habitat. Water comes into
play on many holes.
