Outrigger Reef welcomes you to the consummate Waikiki beachfront hotel. You'll find many delightful diversions, from the poolside cafe and bar, to the relaxing day spa, to the array of specialty shops and oceanfront restaurants. Our open and airy lobby creates a casual atmosphere for sipping a cocktail or just people-watching. The large pool deck welcomes sunbathing, or step on to the sands of Waikiki Beach for a surf lesson, catamaran sail, or outrigger canoe ride. Outrigger Reef has completed the first phase of a $100 million top-to-bottom transformation that will include rebuilding of all guest rooms, reception, and common areas. The all-new Ocean Tower opens with 200 rooms and suites, casually sophisticated and much more spacious. Guests enter a sanctuary of warm woods and colors that echo the stunning views from the mountains to the sea. 32" Flat-panel televisions, complimentary broadband Internet access, and even whirlpool tubs in select suites offer expected services and pleasing comforts.

One step from the hotel and guests' toes land in Waikiki Beach's light-colored sand. If that doesn't suit, there's the large kidney-shaped pool, the huge flagstone sundeck, the large family spa, two adults-only spas, and a poolside bar. Just off the sundeck, the full-service, 4,500-square-foot Serenity Spa specializes in exotic Hawaiian treatments. A waterscape sends water burbling over lava rock and through a lush tropical garden, soothing by sight and sound.

The Outrigger Reef on the Beach is a three-tower, full-service resort. Broad corridors lined by shops branch off the large, airy lobby. Car-rental and tour desks assist guests planning visits around Oahu. Hawaiian history and culture are recognized throughout the hotel. Sepia-toned historical photographs grace public spaces, and a cabinet in the lobby exhibits bowls carved of various woods in the traditional Hawaiian manner.

Three-tower beachfront hotel provides 885 rooms with light-colored island-style furniture and tropical colors. All rooms are air conditioned and feature video game consoles and refrigerators. Free coffee and tea is available in all guestrooms. Use of the in-room safe also is complimentary.

This beachfront hotel offers surfing lessons, outrigger canoe rides, and catamaran cruises (surcharges). A complimentary introductory scuba lesson is offered at the pool. Lobby diversions include Hawaiian music, hula, and craft demonstrations; shopping; a pool table.

The 858 air-conditioned rooms, in three towers on 18 floors, have 20-inch cable TVs with pay movies, video games, and Web access. Complimentary dial-up Internet access, coffeemakers, and compact refrigerators. Blue carpets and Hawaiian-quilt-motif bedspreads complement wood furniture. Some standard rooms have no lanais or views. All other rooms have lanais.

Shore Bird Restaurant - Open to the beach, serving casual breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including buffets for all three meals and grill-your-own options at dinner. Boisterous evenings with live entertainment nightly.

Chief’s Hut - Open-air casual breakfast, lunch, and dinner under a thatched hut by the pool. Sandwiches, salads, and local-style main courses.

Aloha Lobby Lounge - Tucked away behind a lava rock wall in a relatively quiet part of the lobby. Cocktails and appetizers from late morning until mid-evening..

From the beach, hotel guests enjoy swimming, body-surfing in the small shorebreak, surfing lessons, outrigger canoe rides, and catamaran cruises. A complimentary introductory scuba lesson is available at the large pool every day but Sunday.
