The Halekulani Resort
Halekulani has been hosting visitors to Waikiki Beach for nearly 100 years. Today its reputation for gracious hospitality, impeccable service and magnificent cuisine is unequaled on Oahu and renowned throughout the world. Halekulani is originally a private beachfront estate, has been accommodating discriminating travelers to Waikiki Beach since 1917. The hotel's tradition of gracious hospitality prevails today in the same beachfront setting, an oasis of luxury, impeccable service and fine cuisine which is world renowned. Recognized for its excellence in service.

Set on five oceanfront acres on the Honolulu end of Waikiki Beach and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and entertainment, this tranquil, 455-room resort has a 3,772-square-foot oval pool overlooking the beach; surrounded by a terrazzo deck, the pool has a signature orchid design on its floor, comprising 1.125 million glass mosaic tiles.
The resort’s spa offers treatments with a South Pacific emphasis: guests can try traditional Thai, Hawaiian, and Polynesian massage, and the body wraps, facials, and nail and hair care incorporate ingredients such as orchid, papaya, pineapple, and coconut. The spa’s seven private suites include two tandem treatment rooms. A fitness center contains programmable treadmills, recumbent exercise bikes, cross-trainer, multi-station gym, and leg press; fitness consultants offer training sessions and regularly scheduled exercise classes.
Guests also receive complimentary tickets to three museums, Iolani Palace, and the Honolulu Symphony. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel, including the business center, which also has computers, photocopiers, and fax machines; secretarial services can be arranged.
Located in four terraced towers grouped around courtyards, the 455 rooms in this resort open onto furnished lanais with views. Guests register in the privacy of their rooms and are welcomed with signature chocolates and fruit. Guestrooms have duvet and pillow covers with Menac designs from France, 300-thread Egyptian-cotton bed linens, and white-on-white decor. Other amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access, soaking tubs and marble vanities, 27-inch flat-screen TVs, DVD/CD players, and in-room safes. Complimentary toiletries include sunscreen and mineral salts.

The 3,772-square-foot, heated oval pool with surrounding terrazzo deck is a focal point for this resort; cold towels and CD players with headsets are available on request. The spa, whose seven private treatment suites include two tandem rooms, emphasizes South Pacific ingredients and techniques in its treatments, which include massage, facials, body wraps, and hair and nail care. The fitness center has programmable treadmills, recumbent exercise bikes, cross-trainer, multi-station gym, and leg press; fitness consultants offer training sessions and regularly scheduled exercise classes.
