Four Seasons Hualalai Resort
This collection of 36 two-story bungalows is frequented by business travelers, celebrating couples, and relaxing families. Open-air dining and Polynesian-style decor throughout emphasize the backdrop of black-lava rock against white-sand beaches. Although recreational and cultural offerings abound, the pace is unhurried and the setting feels remote.

You can relax beside the Sea Shell Pool and still enjoy the view of the ocean. The ocean's salt-water and underground fresh-water springs combine to create King's Pond. This marine preserve delights both snorkellers and beginning scuba divers. The Beach Tree Pool is another water haven at which you can combine relaxation with an occasional dip. The beautiful blue tile mosaic pool bottom deepens the azure hue of the water and contrasts with the black lava edge and natural teak deck. The 15,000 square-foot Sports Club and Spa offers innovative fitness and spa facilities as well as traditional massage.

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai rests on Hawaii’s exclusive North Kona Coast, surrounded by lush vegetation, sparkling ocean waters and stunning white-sand beaches. The Resort’s 243 expansive bungalow-style guest rooms, including 31 suites, feature private, furnished lanais and stunning ocean views. Some of the lower-level guest rooms and suites also offer outdoor gardens and lava rock showers.

Dinning choices at the resort include Pahu i'a: The finest international and Pacific Rim cuisine in a relaxed, elegant setting right on the shore. The Beach Tree Bar & Grill: Casual dining the way we wish it could always be accompanied by the sound of the gently rolling surf.
The Hualalai Golf Club is the home of the annual MasterCard Senior PGA Championship Tournament. The Club's practice area includes a 12-station driving range, three target greens, a putting green and a chipping green with sand bunker. Designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus, the championship 18-hole, par-72 golf course has been named an official PGA Tour Resort.

The golf course starting holes play toward Hualalai volcano, and the playing
experience progresses through a constantly changing environment, from lush
kipuka or oases to stark lava fields to an exciting oceanfront group of
finishing holes. The spectacular Jack Nicklaus-designed 18-hole par-72 course
takes every advantage of the stark black lava setting that accommodates an open
links style and provides some dramatic, visual golf holes.
Guests are welcomed upon check-in with a cool towel, fresh juice, and a fragrant fresh flower lei at the reception desk, and fruit, nuts, and fudge in their room. A complimentary, self-service business center accessible 24 hours includes three computers with Internet access and a copier, as well as CDs and videos to borrow. Complimentary self-service laundry facilities, with detergent, are on-site.

The spa includes a eucalyptus steam room, sauna, spa tub, and cold plunge. Additional sports facilities--such as five pools, eight tennis courts, a rock-climbing wall, and basketball half-court--are on-site. In the 2-foot children’s wading pool, infant diaper cover-ups are complimentary, and popsicles are available from attendants.

This hotel has 243 guestrooms, all with simple Polynesian-style teakwood furnishings and John Kelly paintings. Beds have cream-colored linens and bamboo headboards with a white-linen partial canopy. Bathrooms have separate soaking tubs and showers with L’Occitane toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers. Two chairs with a granite table and one lounge chair separate the beds from the lanais, furnished with tables and chairs.

Pahu i’a - The hotel’s signature restaurant is open for à la carte or buffet breakfast as well as dinner. Diners enjoy panoramic ocean views from the open-air dining room. The restaurant serves contemporary Pacific Cuisine, with a menu changing daily to utilize the freshest island ingredients.
Club Grille - This open-air, casual dining room serving lunch overlooks the palm-tree-filled greens. Low, black-lava walls line the lanai, and an outrigger canoe is suspended over planters in the middle of the dining room. In addition to sandwiches and salads served daily, the menu includes traditional Japanese and Filipino rice and noodle dishes.
Beach Tree Bar & Grill - Fresh island seafood and salads are served all day in this casual open-air waterfront dining room. Two theme buffet dinners—Surf, Sand, and Stars Barbecue on Saturday and Asian Night on Wednesday—are served weekly
Jack Nicklaus designed the resort’s oceanfront Hualalai Golf Course, which is built over black-lava rock. Guests snorkel, scuba dive, and watch the tropical fish in the resort’s unique King’s Pool—a blend of cool spring and warm ocean water. The resort also has a rock-climbing wall, putting green, eight tennis courts, and four spa tubs. Adults, lap-swimmers, and infants all have their own swimming pools; the Sea Shell swimming pool has an infinity edge.

Complimentary fitness walks and pick-up basketball games are organized daily. Running trails of 2.4 to 5.3 miles wind around the property. Guests can register for tennis clinics, beach volleyball, and boogie board cruises (fee). Yoga, spinning, Pilates, tai chi, aqua fit, power fit, and interval training classes are also regularly offered (fee).
At the Kaupulehu Cultural Center, guests can learn about Hawaiian arts and horticulture through introductory quilting and ukulele lessons; cultural and plant tours; pandanus weaving and shell-bracelet making; and sessions with an artist in residence
